Recreation and Well-Being Outdoor Leadership Certificate
VCU's Outdoor Leadership Certificate program offers hands-on training in land management, outdoor recreation, field research, and environmental education. Courses include outdoor leadership, team building, expedition planning and wilderness first aid. Fall 2023 courses include ENVS 260 Section 001: Outdoor Leadership, and ENVS 591 Section 903: Expedition Planning, with travel to Chiapas, Mexico during the January break. The VCU Health Orchestra is a musical group associated with the health system that is made up of doctors, nurses, professors, students and members of the community.
