Avaya Workplace and MyE911 Overview

The Avaya Workplace app allows customers to extend their office number to their remote work site. The Avaya Workplace app is ideal for remote workers. Callers can reach remote workers on any device by calling their work telephone number, and when placing a call the caller party will see their work number and not their mobile number. Also, learn how the MyE911 app works in conjunction with Avaya Workplace if the desktop version is being used. The virtual session is open to all VCU and VCU Health. Register at the following URL.

Morning Communion at the Pace Center

Recreation and Well-Being Women+ on Weights Session 1
RecWell’s Women+ on Weights Fall Session 1 is open to women and individuals who are non-binary and/or gender non-conforming who are looking to learn foundational methods of resistance training and workout design. A certified personal trainer will help with the use of strength machines, resistance bands, cable stacks and free weights to build skill and knowledge of proper technique and progressions, as well as confidence in the weight room. The program runs Aug. 28 to Oct. 5.

Recreation and Well-Being Aquatics Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons
Private swimming lessons and semi-private swimming lessons are available to VCU Students and RecWell members ages 2 and older. Lessons are taught by certified Water Safety Instructors and are available in packages of two, four and six sessions. Sessions can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length. Registration is ongoing to Nov. 30.

Recreation and Well-Being Personal Training Fitness Consult
The Fitness Consult is a flexible session that allows participants to work one-on-one with a Certified Personal Trainer to ask questions, perform fitness assessments specific to your individual goals and develop a fitness program. This 90-minute session is geared for those who might not need full guidance from a trainer but want to learn more about equipment, progressions or general health status. Consultations are available at both Cary Street Gym, 101 S. Linden St., and the Jonah L. Larrick Student Center (MCV Campus Recreation Center), 900 Turpin St. Registration is ongoing.
