$5 VCU Faculty/Staff Tickets - VCU Men's Soccer Home Opener

VCU faculty and staff can purchase $5 tickets to VCU men's soccer home opener with the University of New Hampshire. Tickets can be purchased via the following URL or in-person at the ticket office at Sports Backers Stadium, 100 Avenue of Champions. VCU faculty and staff must present a valid VCU ID to receive discount at the gates. The $5 discount applies to immediate family members.

The Avaya Workplace app allows customers to extend their office number to their remote work site. The Avaya Workplace app is ideal for remote workers. Callers can reach remote workers on any device by calling their work telephone number, and when placing a call the caller party will see their work number and not their mobile number. Save the Date; Pups on the Plaza Is Coming

Pups on the Plaza will be taking place at the James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Marshall St. Pups on the Plaza is a therapy dog event in which a rotating cast of Dogs on Call therapy dogs will be on site, ready to meet and greet passersby. Show your support for Dogs on Call teams by purchasing a $5 lunch (hot dog, chips and a drink) or a Dogs on Call T-shirt for $10. In the event of rain, everything will move indoors to the McGlothlin lobby.

Enrolling Now for TEENS!, a Virtual Weight-Management Research Program for 12-16 Year-Olds
Are you concerned about your teen’s weight? We can help. TEENS is a research program that includes a four-month family-based lifestyle intervention - all conducted virtually - for teens ages 12 to 16 with overweight or obesity. The program is offered by Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. It includes weekly, virtual group classes for teens and parents that cover topics such as healthy eating, physical activity and goal-setting. Teens also participate in exercise sessions led by personal trainers.

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Exercise
This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator: Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
