Jamming With Generative AI: A Music Workshop

Avaya Workplace and MyE911

VCU Telecommunications Services will offer virtual training on The Avaya Workplace and MyE911 apps, which allows customers to extend their office number to their remote work site. The Avaya Workplace app is ideal for remote workers. Callers can reach remote workers on any device by calling their work telephone number, and when placing a call the caller party will see their work number and not their mobile number. Flu Immunization Clinics for VCU Faculty and Staff
As a convenience to university faculty and staff working on campus, VCU Human Resources has arranged for Walgreens, a participating pharmacy with the COVA health plans, to conduct four flu immunization clinics during September and October on both campuses. Recreation and Well-Being Group Exercise Les Mills Launch Week
RecWell’s Group Exercise program will present Les Mills Launch Week Tuesday, Oct. 24 to Thursday, Oct. 26. Participants will experience the latest versions of Les Mills group exercise formats. New music and routines from Les Mills GRIT and BodyPump will be offered multiple times throughout the week. Registration opens 24 hours before each class and closes 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Drop-ins are allowed if space permits. Open to VCU students and RecWell members.

Cary Street Gym To Open Late on Oct. 20
The Cary Street Gym, 101 S. Linden St., will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. The facility will be closed from 5:45-9 a.m. for planned maintenance that requires the water to be shut off to the entire facility. The MCV Campus Recreation Center will be open during this time.
