VCU Police Adjust Patrols for End of Daylight Saving Time

Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, Nov. 5, which pushes back clocks in Virginia by one hour. To accommodate this seasonal change with earlier sunsets, VCU Police will increase patrols around VCU parking decks and lots on both campuses during the evening rush hours from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout November. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to be aware of their surroundings and use caution while traveling, especially when outdoor visibility is reduced during this seasonal change.

GEHLI Art Contest

The Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute will celebrate the life and legacy of Grace Harris, Ph.D., through the universal language of art. This contest is an opportunity for participants to express their interpretation of “UNcommon Grace” through individual creative vision. Exploring Parenting and Race: VCU's AYA Research Team Needs You

Be part of VCU's AYA Research Team's ongoing study. The project includes discussion of race-conscious parenting with expecting Black parents and those raising Black children (ages 1-5). Explore how racial factors shape parenting through five interviews every six months, involving both parents and brief check-in questionnaires.
