VCU Biostatistics Fall Seminar Series

Closing Performance in Conversation With Sara Bouchard's 'Forest for the Trees'

VCUarts and The Anderson will present a closing performance in conversation with Sara Bouchard's sound installation “Forest for the Trees” on view through today, Sept. 22 at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St. Kinetic Imaging MFA students and alumni will improvise with the weather-responsive installation on bass clarinet, natural materials, voice, movement and more. The artist will be available for a Q&A following the performance.

Avaya Workplace and MyE911 Apps

In the coming weeks VCU Telecommunications Services will offer virtual training on the Avaya Workplace and MyE911 apps, which allows customers to extend their office number to their remote work site. The Avaya Workplace app is ideal for remote workers. Callers can reach remote workers on any device by calling their work telephone number, and when placing a call the caller party will see their work number and not their mobile number. Flute and Friends Faculty Recital

'Right to Read' Documentary Screening

A screening of the documentary "The Right to Read" will be hosted by the VCU School of Education and Virginia Department of Education’s Training and Technical Assistance Center at VCU. The screening is funded by the VCU Ruth Harris Professorship. Created to inspire meaningful conversations about the science of reading among educators, administrators and families, "The Right to Read" seeks to spark discourse to help improve literacy education nationwide. From Stardust to Raindrops: A Journey Through Echoing Skies
