The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct nationwide tests of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). The Compromiso, Valores, Servicio (CVS) Program is a pathway program in the spring and early summer offered to Spanish-speaking bilingual students ages 18 and up who are interested in serving as members of a health care team. The program gives students mentorship and experience serving as medical interpreters while exploring a career in pharmacy. Each participant will receive $500 per semester to cover any program costs.
