Johan Granberg: The Bamboo Dialogues

The VCUarts Department of Interior Design will host Johan Granberg, VCUarts Qatar, for a screening of his latest film, "The Bamboo Dialogues" in the theater of the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The sequel to 2019’s “Bamboo - the Tradition of the Future,” the new documentary seeks to answer the questions: What is bamboo and why are we not using more of it in contemporary design and engineering? Granberg will participate in a Q&A from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Snacks will be included.

Principles of Play Therapy Workshop

Stepping In 4 Respect Training Workshop

These interactive workshops utilize video scenarios, interactive debriefing discussions and improvisation experiences to help participants learn how to use a positive approach to addressing discriminatory behavior in the health care environment. VCU Choirs To Present 'From Stardust to Raindrops'
Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 at 7 p.m.
Embark on a poetic musical voyage with VCU Choirs and VCU Percussion during our collaborative concert, “From Stardust to Raindrops: A Journey through Echoing Skies.” As we explore the wonders of the sky, stars, and rain, our voices and instruments will echo like celestial phenomena. The concert will be in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall, W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave. All students with VCU ID and music faculty (full-time and part-time) will be admitted for free. General admission is $10.
