Metal Additive Manufacturing Workshop

CimQuest Manufacturing Solutions will partner with the Advanced Magnetic Materials Processing Laboratory at VCU to showcase Xact Metal's 3D printers. The devices combine the critical additive manufacturing specifications of metal powder-bed fusion (SLM/DMLS) with cutting-edge technology to offer uncompromised as-printed part quality at an affordable price. The event will be in Room 1313, Engineering Research Building, 401 W. Main St., and the Collaboration Hub.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Spring 2024 Final Grades Due Today at Noon
Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon today, Tuesday, May 14, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an Excel file into eServices. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned.

Summer parking permits are now available. Fall housing and 24/7 commuter permits will be available beginning Tuesday, June 25 at 9 a.m. For those commuting to the MCV Campus, commuter permits will go on sale via the parking lottery on Monday, July 15 at 9 a.m., while fall Monroe Park Campus commuter permits will be available starting Tuesday, July 30 at 9 a.m.

VCU Women's Basketball Youth Camp
VCU women's basketball head coach Beth O’Boyle will host a week-long basketball camp at the Stuart C. Siegel Center this summer for all girls and boys ages 5-14. Research Study on Stress Experiences in Young Black Women Ages 18-39
The Equity in Cardiovascular Health Outcomes (EqCHO) Lab at VCU is conducting a study on the stress experiences of young Black women. We would like to use the information gained from this study to develop a stress reduction program to improve cardiovascular health among young African American women. Resources will be provided on stress and health management. The study will take place over two consecutive weeks. Compensation is available.
