VCUarts Theatre will present the last work of celebrated French satirist Molière at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave. Set in 17th century France, the melodramatic Argan suffers from imagined ills and unnecessary treatments. When he attempts to marry off his daughter to save money on medical bills, the whole household joins to save true love and give Argan's doctors a dose of their own medicine. Audiences can expect over-the-top emotions, physical comedy and beautiful “period-ish” costumes and design. Tickets are $10 for the VCU community.
