Financial Wellness Part 1 of 4: Finding Balance Between Budgeting and Saving

This Virginia Credit Union four-session program is designed specifically to educate participants about the core financial wellness topics. The class will be at the Mary and Frances Youth Center, 120 S. Linden St. Participants will engage in the four main topics of financial wellness; saving, credit, debt and budgeting for the future. Recreation and Well-Being Free Friday Esports
RecWell's Intramural Sports Program will host Friday night Esports in Rooms 2221 and 2223, T. Edward Temple Building, 901 W. Main St., from 5-11 p.m. Join other students in playing games such as Super Smash Bros. All levels are welcome. The games are open to currently enrolled VCU students. No registration is necessary. Participants Invited for Study Examining Impact of Acute and Chronic Stress on Cardiovascular Health
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as Black or African American are invited to participate in a research study examining the effect of acute and chronic stress on cardiovascular and inflammation responses to an acute mental challenge. Raffle drawings for financial compensation will be conducted. This study will take place at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. The principal investigator is Lee Franco, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
