RecWell’s fitness consultation is a flexible session for participants to work one-on-one with a certified personal trainer and ask questions, perform fitness assessments specific to individual goals and develop a fitness program. VCU’s DUO Authentication Change on March 18

Recreation and Well-Being Mindful Ambassadors

RecWell’s Mindful Ambassador Program aims to identify students, faculty and staff who are interested in creating a mindful revolution and healthier campus community. Participants will learn about various types of meditation, belly breathing, mindful posture and special considerations for leading meditation with others. Those who complete the workshop will receive additional resources to lead meditation in the community along with a campus leadership sticker.

It's not too late to join the 2024 Women's Health and Wellness Trip to Guatemala: May 25-June 1 with VCU's Institute for Women’s Health and Highland Support Project. Participants Invited for a Study Examining Psychosocial Stress and Cardiovascular Health in Sexual and Gender Minority Adults

This study is inviting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as LGBTQ. We are also inviting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as cis-gender heterosexual for the control group. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of chronic psychosocial stress and vascular inflammation to an acute mental challenge. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.

Individuals Age 21-55 Who Both Vape and Occasionally Drink Are Invited to Participate in a Research Study

Individuals between the ages of 21 and 55 who vape electronic cigarettes daily and also occasionally drink alcohol are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. The purpose of this research study is to find out how ethanol (alcohol)-containing e-cigarettes impact ethanol breath tests, field sobriety tests, and other tests of sobriety.
