Get a Richmond Public Library Card at Cabell Library
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visit the Richmond Public Library table in the lobby of James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., to sign up for a library card and learn about its vast services. To get a card: Show a picture ID such as a driver’s license or passport. If your address is different from the one on the ID, bring a document that has the correct address. The card gives free access to books, audiobooks, movies, music, newspapers and magazines and more. This is a StudyWell event.

Recreation and Well-Being Log Rolling Clinic
A log-rolling clinic is open to VCU students and RecWell members looking to improve their balance, compete against friends and complete a medium-intensity workout in a unique way. VCU Health Seeks Original Artwork
VCU Health will purchase two pieces of artwork inclusive of ownership rights by two different artists. Prints will be gifted to nurses, team members and their families upon retirement or when they pass away. Artists who currently attend VCU are eligible. The selected artists will be paid $1,000 each for the original piece of artwork and will sign an agreement giving reproduction rights to VCU Health. The deadline submission is 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28.

VCU Libraries Seeks User Feedback Through In-Buildings Survey
In mid-April, VCU Libraries’ will conduct a brief survey to assess how users describe and use different areas and seating types in the library buildings. This information will be used to improve maps and wayfinding and to develop a web page that will help users find the libraries’ spaces that best fit their needs. Participate in a Study on Genetic and Neural Factors in Alcohol-Related Cognition, Conducted Through the Department of Psychology at VCU
This MRI study explores how genetic and brain factors impact cognitive processes after recent alcohol consumption. To participate, you must be 21-45 years old at the time of the MRI session, have consumed alcohol at least once in your life, be free of major health problems, free of current drug abuse, right-hand dominant, not pregnant or suspecting pregnancy, and free of metallic implants in your body.
