Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Exercise

This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. The principal investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Seeking Participants for the 'Aqui Entre Nos' Study ('Here Between Us')

I am Nixon Arauz, a doctoral candidate in Social and Behavioral Sciences within the Department of Health Behavior and Policy at VCU’s School of Population Health. I would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in the "Aqui Entre Nos" study (translation: "Here Between Us"). Our objective is to engage self-identifying Black (Afro) Hispanic/Latino (H/L) men aged 18-34 to explore their lived experiences and gather perspectives on Human Papillomavirus (HPV), the HPV vaccine, vaccine-seeking behaviors and communication preferences. To be eligible, you must be a Black (Afro) H/L man between the ages of 18-34. Participation will involve a 45-to-60-minute interview in a private room on campus, and you will be compensated $15 for your time.
