There is an increasing emphasis on skills such as design thinking, problem-solving, adaptability and empathy to current as well as future job roles. VCU da Vinci Center is offering the opportunity to earn an “Introduction to Design Thinking” credential via a credly badge that you can post on your LinkedIn. This virtual workshop is free and open to all VCU students and community members. Traffic Impact: Broad Street Bridge Project
8 p.m.
Today (Friday, March 1) at 8 p.m. to Monday (March 4) at 6 a.m., the northbound and southbound travel lanes of I-95 at mile marker 74 will be reduced to one lane and exit 74C (I-95 north to Broad Street), Broad Street at the bridge over I-95 and the westbound ramp from Broad Street to I-95 will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained. This will be the first of several impacted weekends. See an overview at the followiwng URL.

Support[HER] Game With VCU Women's Basketball, Presented by Synergy Technical

Help be a part of VCU Women's Basketball history. VCU Women's Basketball will host its first Support[HER] game at the Stuart C. Siegel Center,1200 W. Broad St., against George Mason University. The game is presented by Synergy Technical. As part of the nationwide movement in supporting women's athletics, the Support[HER] game aims to break VCU Women's Basketball current attendance record of 1,500. Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Exercise
This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. The principal investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
