Open enrollment for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s health coverage and flexible spending plans will be offered starting today, Monday, May 1, through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 15. VCU Music to Produce Mozart's Requiem

In Fall 2024, the VCU Department of Music will present Mozart's Requiem (KV 626). This work will feature VCU students, including four soloists (SATB), chorus and orchestra. All VCU choral ensembles will unite to form one mass choir, collaborating with the VCU Symphony. Institute for Contemporary Art Exhibition: 'Traces of Ecstasy'

"Traces of Ecstasy" will be at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St., through Sunday, June 9. The project features artists from the African continent and its diasporas, such as Nolan Oswald Dennis, Evan Ifekoya, Raymond Pinto, Temitayo Shonibare, and Adeju Thompson. The exhibition presents works spanning sculpture, installation, video, sound, drawing, textile, performance and digital art, in addition to a reading room and a symposium.

Brain Health After Breast Cancer Chemotherapy and in Healthy Volunteers

Chemotherapy may impact memory, attention, processing speed, multitasking and problem-solving. We hope to improve our understanding of these difficulties and identify women who are at the most risk for having them. We are seeking healthy female volunteers (35-68 years) free of MRI contraindications. Participation involves two study visits 12-18 months apart. Visits include brain MRI and online assessments.

LGBTQIA+/First-Generation Student Research Study - Paid Opportunity

Participants are sought who can attend three 90-minute sessions, are open to sharing their experience and willing to photograph their "voice." Participants will be paid $25 for each session. Participants must be a first-generation student and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
