The Suit Yourself Closet of VCU Career Services offers free, gently used career/professional/workplace clothing to VCU students. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Monday, Apr. 29, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This course begins with an in-depth description of the Six Sigma phases, roles and related statistical tools required for success. The curriculum follows both the DMAIC (Green Belt) and DMADV (Black Belt) methodologies, teaching candidates how to integrate Six Sigma into an overall approach to process improvement. Prior Green Belt course work is highly recommended. The cost is $3,300 due at registration. The class will be held at Snead Hall, VCU School of Business, 301 W. Main St.

Participants Invited for a Study Examining Psychosocial Stress and Cardiovascular Health in Sexual and Gender Minority Adults
This study is inviting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as LGBTQ. We are also inviting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as cis-gender heterosexual for the control group. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of chronic psychosocial stress and vascular inflammation to an acute mental challenge. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.

Participate in a Study on Genetic and Neural Factors in Alcohol-Related Cognition, Conducted Through the Department of Psychology at VCU
This MRI study explores how genetic and brain factors impact cognitive processes after recent alcohol consumption. To participate, you must be 21-45 years old at the time of the MRI session, have consumed alcohol at least once in your life, be free of major health problems, free of current drug abuse, right-hand dominant, not pregnant or suspecting pregnancy, and free of metallic implants in your body.
