Program and Organization Development for Indian Country Webinar
Wednesday, Jul. 10, 2024 from noon to 2 p.m.
VCU's Rehabilitation Research and Training Center will host a discussion via Zoom about strategies for developing programs, expanding organizations and state and federal resources available to support these efforts. The discussion will include successful models and explore topics including policy, regulatory impacts, relationship building and tribal sovereignty issues related to federal and state partnerships. Stress Management: Building Resiliency

Reconciling the demands of work and home life can be a source of constant tension which may result in sleep disturbances, appetite changes, headaches, poor concentration and irritability. In this virtual session presented by VCU HR and Anthem EAP, participants will learn how to identify emotional and physical symptoms of stress, assess individual situations and practice hands-on techniques to balance work and personal life. Attend Supervisors and Managers Boot Camp, a Professional Development Course

RecWell Adult Beginner Swim Lessons Session Two
RecWell offers adult beginner swim lessons geared for participants who are comfortable in the water but wish to learn basic skills such as floating, treading water and coordination for swimming strokes. Lessons will primarily be taught in shallow water, but participants will practice supporting themselves in deeper water throughout the class. Summer Session Two runs Monday, July 15-Saturday, Aug. 17, Monday/Wednesday, 6:05-7 p.m. at Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center, 101 S. Linden St. Register by Friday, July 12 at noon.

RecWell Outdoor Adventure Program Weekly Activities
RecWell’s Outdoor Adventure Program offers free activity clinics including beginners’ whitewater rafting, flat-water standup paddlboarding and whitewater rafting. Volunteer for Residential Life and Housing Move-in Weekend
Residential Life and Housing will be holding its annual move-in weekend on Friday, Aug. 16 and Saturday, Aug. 17. We need your help to unload vehicles, manage and push move-in carts and welcome the Class of 2028.
