Grand Rounds With Anesthesiologist-Statistician Emery Brown, M.D., Ph.D.

The Dr. Jagdip Shah Lectureship will present Emery Brown, M.D., Ph.D., for "Grand Rounds: General Anesthesia, Neuromodulations and Altered States of Arousal" in Room 3-106, Sanger Hall, 1101 E. Marshall St. Brown is a professor of anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and professor of Medical Engineering and Computational Neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Using Kintsugi To Understand the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

Participants will learn about the health impact of adverse childhood experiences often seen in adulthood. While learning the ACE impact, each individual will create a piece of art. The art will represent the effects of ACES and each person's resilience. This is a hands-on experience. The session will be at the Mary and Frances Youth Center, 120 S. Spring 2024 Final Grades Due Today at Noon
Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon today, Tuesday, May 14, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an Excel file into eServices. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned.

Free Store Donation Drive Volunteer Opportunity
VCU Sustainability is requesting volunteers for the Free Store, 919 W. Grace St. Volunteers are needed to sort and manage donations from the residence halls during student move-out. Volunteers are sought for two-hour shifts from today, Tuesday, May 14 to Thursday, May 23. Your efforts will help ensure items find new homes instead of ending up in landfills.
