Hiring - FWS Student Hours Assistant

The Science Hub is hiring two new Student Hours Assistants for the 2024-2025 academic year. Student Hours Assistants support Student Hours by assisting with the check-in process, providing administrative support and creating a welcoming environment. Applicants must receive a Federal Work Study award, have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be enrolled in a STEM major at VCU and commit to working a full semester.

Participants Are Invited for Study Examining the Impact of Acute and Chronic Stress on Cardiovascular Health

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as Black or African American are invited to participate in a research study examining the effect of acute and chronic stress on cardiovascular and inflammation responses to an acute mental challenge. Raffle drawings for financial compensation will be conducted. This study will take place at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.
