RecWell Outdoor Adventure Day Caving

Join RecWell’s Outdoor Adventure Program on Saturday, July 13 for a day of caving in western Virginia. This beginner-friendly trip, is open to VCU students and RecWell members. No caving experience is needed. Explore the vast caverns beneath us and learn about cave formations first-hand from our experienced leaders. Transportation, equipment and guides will be provided. RecWell Massage Therapy Services

Table massage promotes a healthy and active life, relieves stress and muscle tension and assists in rehabilitating an injury. RecWell’s licensed massage therapists will discuss any client needs and will implement a customized treatment. Table massage is open to VCU students, RecWell members and faculty/staff non-members. RecWell Small Group Training Summer Sweat Session 2

Registration is open for RecWell’s Small Group Training program Summer Sweat Session Two. Participants work with a certified personal trainer to learn the foundational methods of cardio and resistance training and program design, using a variety of equipment throughout the fitness center to build skill and knowledge of proper technique and progressions. Session Two runs July 10-Aug. 19, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m. Register at the following URL.

Registration Open for Advanced Certificate Of Youth Development Management

This certificate provides training in workforce and youth development. It is specifically designed for professionals across various youth program sectors and services, including health services, out-of-school time programs and early childhood education. Classes will be at the Mary and Frances Youth Center, 120 S. Linden St. Participants will be instructed in roles such as caregivers, mentors, teachers, health service providers and youth program staff.
