This event is open to all students, faculty and staff of VCU and VCU Health. Participants will have the opportunity to embrace community while working to enhance LGBTQIA+ visibility in the health sciences. Lunch will be provided. Learn how to address discrimination and other mistreatment in our clinical and learning environments. While the training has more of a clinical focus, the skills presented are very adaptable to non-clinical settings. The session will be in Room 3-101, James W. and Frances G. LGBTQIA+/First-Generation Student Research Study - Paid Opportunity

Participants are sought who can attend three 90-minute sessions, are open to sharing their experience and willing to photograph their "voice." Participants will be paid $25 for each session. Participants must be a first-generation student and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
