Lauren McCullough, Ph.D., MSPH, and Alpa Patel, Ph.D., MPH, co-principal investigators of American Cancer Society's VOICES of Black Women study, will discuss the national initiative calling on Black women to join a collective commitment to understanding and improving the health of Black women across the nation. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center will host the Walter Lawrence Jr., M.D., Research Retreat at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. The event will feature Pulitzer Prize winner Siddhartha Mukherjee as well as scientific presentations from faculty and students and a research poster session. Registration Open for Advanced Certificate of Youth Development Management
This certificate provides essential training in workforce and positive youth development. It is specifically designed for professionals across various youth program sectors and services, including health services, out-of-school time programs and early childhood education. Participants acquire the knowledge needed to excel in roles such as caregivers, mentors, teachers, health service providers and youth program staff.
