Special Announcement
VCU to Conduct Test of Emergency Communications at Noon Today
VCU will conduct a full test of its emergency communications and alerting systems, including outdoor sirens, on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses and at the VCU Police Department’s headquarters, 224 E. Broad St., at noon today, Sept. 4.
The test will include a one-minute siren activation, along with text messages, Alertus boxes, mass email, digital signs, desktop alerts, the LiveSafe app, the VCU Mobile app, the VCU Facebook page and VCU Alert website information — all part of a multichannel system for communicating emergency information to the university and the surrounding community. Bioinformatics Bites: AI Agents and Their Applications in Drug Discovery and Bioinformatics Analysis

History and Health Symposium - Improving Birth Outcomes: Health Disparities and Black Birthing People

RecWell OAP Student Outdoor Leadership Experience
This intensive training is the foundation of the Outdoor Adventure Program trips program and is designed to provide opportunities for skill development, personal growth and leadership experience for potential OAP student leaders. Using the outdoors as a classroom, participants will also gain a connection to the natural world and consider how to provide similar experiences on OAP trips. Freshmen: Spit for Science

This research project looks at how environmental and genetic factors contribute to emotional health along with alcohol and substance use habits. Postmenopausal Females Are Invited For Study the Impact of Exercise on Cardiovascular Health
This study is seeking postmenopausal females to participate in a research study examining the effect of exercise training on blood vessel function. Dental students at the VCU School of Dentistry are conducting a survey to understand individuals' dental care experiences.
