RecWell OAP Belay Clinics
RecWell’s Outdoor Adventure Program offers belay clinics at the Cary Street Gym Climbing Wall, 101 S. Linden St., every Wednesday, 5-6 p.m., through Dec. 4. Learning to belay allows participants to climb with a partner and is a fundamental skill for all rock climbers. OAP staff will teach current best practices for belaying and answer any and all questions about climbing in the Cary Street Gym. Registration opens the day before the clinic. The ability to create and edit Google Sites is no longer available. The Google Sites service will be fully decommissioned as of December 2024. RESPECT Study (Restorative Practice for Black Caregivers’ Stress) Recruiting Caregivers
VCU's Chronopsychology Lab is conducting a pilot study of a brief breathwork exercise for reducing Black caregiver stress. Black caregivers who are taking care of someone with dementia are eligible to apply and could receive up to $200 for their participation. Participants Are Invited for a Study Examining the Effects of E-Cigarettes on Cardiovascular Health
Do you vape? We are seeking participants between 18 to 29 years old who regularly vape to participate in a study investigating the effects of e-cigarettes on cardiovascular health. We are also seeking non-users. Compensation is included.
