Eastbound Lane Closure on Broad Street, Today, Oct. 17
The City of Richmond will conduct infrastructure work causing the eastbound lanes on West Broad Street between North Belvidere and North Monroe Streets to be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on today, Oct. 17. The Pulse lane will remain open for Pulse use only. Signage will be posted to detour traffic on West Marshall Street.

RecWell American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Course
The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course is open for VCU students, RecWell members, non-member faculty/staff and the Richmond community. Learn how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. Participants will earn a certificate that satisfies OSHA requirements for workplace First Aid/CPR/AED training in non-health care settings. Farewell to Lon-Capa
Due to insurmountable usage, support and security issues, Lon-Capa will be retired effective July 1, 2025, with no new course creation requests accepted after the spring 2025 semester. Möbius, a cloud-based learning platform, will replace Lon-Capa, offering enhanced features for creating and deploying STEM course materials. VCU Libraries, in support of open and affordable course materials, announces a new round of VIVA Open Adopt Grants. These $2,000 grants empower faculty with the resources and time they need to integrate existing open or no-cost materials into a syllabus.
