Financial Dashboard Competition Interest Meeting

TechConnect is hosting a Financial Dashboard Competition in which participants will work in teams to create a financial dashboard that will help a Richmond nonprofit, CAPUP, make better financial decisions as it receives millions of dollars in grants. This month-long competition offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial data literacy and visualization, dashboard design and stakeholder communication. Lane and Sidewalk Closures on East Broad Street Nov. 1-3 (Friday-Sunday) and Nov. 8-10 (Friday-Sunday)
Due to crane placement to replace the chiller at the Molecular Medical Research Building, three of four westbound lanes and the sidewalk on East Broad Street between College Street and the alley adjacent to MMRB will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 and 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10. VCU is coordinating with the city of Richmond. Signage will be posted to direct traffic.

RecWell November Aquatics Log Rolling Clinic
Join RecWell Aquatics for a log rolling clinic. Participants will practice balancing and staying atop the strategically placed log in the shallow end of the pool. Registration is open through the day of the clinic. The final clinic of the semester will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Beginners are welcome; the intensity level is medium.
