It’s Will Eisner Week at James Branch Cabell Library. Eisner (1917-2005) was a pioneering comic artist who had wide-reaching influence on the graphic novel as a literary genre. VCU Libraries is a repository for the awards programs, ballots, calls for entries and comic books, graphic novels, journals and comics-related books that were nominated for awards in the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards – the “Oscars” of the comic arts.
