Luis Vasquez La Roche: Visiting Artist Lecture

VCU's Department of Painting and Printmaking will present a lecture by visiting artist Luis Vasquez La Roche (MFA ’20) at Oliver Hall, Physical Sciences Wing, Room 1024, School of Education, 1015 W. Main St. Vasquez La Roche’s practice is interested in aspects of the transatlantic slave trade that repeat themselves in varying ways in the present such as labor, death, erasure, oppression, violence and discrimination. A part of the research is exploring material, space, smell, and sounds in relationship to personal and historical archives.

Adobe File Sync Discontinuation
Adobe has delayed the discontinuation of cloud-based file syncing services to now take place today, Monday, Feb. 3 for all Enterprise/Federated customers (including VCU). VCU end-users need to back up/migrate any data and files stored within Adobe’s Cloud storage platform to their local computer, USB storage and/or Google Drive storage. Unlock the Secrets of Human Trunk Movement: Join Our Trunk Behavior Study
We're looking for volunteers for our single-visit study, the Human Trunk Behavior Project, taking place at the Physical Therapy Department of VCU’s College of Health Professions. Participants Invited for a Study Examining Psychosocial Stress and Cardiovascular Health in Sexual and Gender Minority Adults
This study is inviting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as cis-gender heterosexual for the control group in addition to individuals who identify as LGBTQ. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of chronic psychosocial stress and vascular inflammation to an acute mental challenge. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.
