Fall 2025 Student MCV Campus Commuter Permit Lottery

VCU Parking and Transportation collaborated with the MCV Campus Assistant and Associate Dean’s Council to improve the MCV Campus student parking sale experience. As a result, the sale process resembles a lottery system for the fall/spring semesters and applies to commuter parking permits only. Note the schedule for upcoming MCV Campus permit sales: Fall 2025 MCV Campus commuter permits lottery signup will be through Thursday, July 17. The Fall 2025 MCV Campus lottery sale will be Tuesday, July 22 through Friday, July 25. All permits are virtual and linked directly to your license plate(s). That means no hangtag will be mailed. If you need help linking your permit, review the instructions at go.vcu.edu/lpr.

Participants Invited for Study Examining Impact of Exercise on Cardiovascular Health

This research study is inviting individuals between the ages of 20 and 24 with poor sleep quality. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of aerobic and resistance exercise on cardiovascular responses and vascular inflammation. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator: Lee Franco, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Expecting or Raising a Black Child Under Age 5? Participants Invited for a Study on Parenting and Race (Compensation Provided)

Be part of VCU's AYA Collective Research Team's ongoing study called ROOTED Endeavor. We're discussing racial socialization with romantically involved couples who are either expecting or raising Black children ages 0-5. Explore how racial factors shape parenting through five virtual interviews every six months involving both parents and brief online questionnaires every three months. A One-Time Interview To Understand the Experiences or Lack of Experience With Resistance Exercise and Mobile Apps in Young Black Women

Black women ages 18-35 are invited to share their experiences or lack of experience with resistance exercise (e.g., lifting weights, resistance bands, body weight exercises) along with their desired features of a mobile app aimed to help guide and track their exercise regimens.
