'Dam-Breaking: The Arms Trade and American Revolutions'

VCU History Department's Society of the Cincinnati Annual Lecture will be "Dam-Breaking: The Arms Trade and American Revolutions." Historian Brian DeLay, Ph.D., UC Berkeley, will discuss the history and complexity of the arms trade in the independence era of 1775–1825 and the consequences for those who supplied the weapons that made the revolution a success. Annual Graduate School Three Minute Thesis Competition
The VCU Graduate School encourages graduate students of all levels to participate in the annual Three Minute Thesis Competition. This unique competition asks students to share the impact of their research in three minutes using only one slide. Graduate students from all disciplines are eligible to participate. A One-Time Interview To Understand the Experiences or Lack of Experience With Resistance Exercise and Mobile Apps in Young Black Women
Black women ages 18-35 who have little to no experience with resistance exercise (e.g., lifting weights, resistance bands, body weight exercises) are invited to share these experiences along with their desired features of a mobile app aimed to help guide and track their exercise regimens.
