RecWell’s Mindful Ambassador Program

RecWell’s Mindful Ambassador Program is geared for students, faculty and staff who are interested in creating a mindful revolution and healthier campus community. In a two-hour workshop, participants will learn about various types of meditation, belly breathing, mindful posture and special considerations for leading meditation with others. Those who complete the workshop will receive additional mindfulness resources to lead meditation sessions. The program is held online via Zoom. Fall 2025 SOCRA Certification Study Groups

The Wright Regional Center will sponsor a study group for the fall 2025 Society of Clinical Research Associates Certified Clinical Research Professional Certification. The deadline to sign up is Friday. Sept. 26. Space is limited to 15 participants. The fall study group is open to individuals scheduled to take the SOCRA exam before April 1, 2026. SOCRA proof of acceptance to sit for the exam is required for all participants prior to the first session. Annual Graduate School Three Minute Thesis Competition

The VCU Graduate School encourages graduate students of all levels to participate in the annual Three Minute Thesis Competition. This unique competition asks students to share the impact of their research in three minutes using only one slide. Graduate students from all disciplines are eligible to participate. A One-Time Interview To Understand the Experiences or Lack of Experience With Resistance Exercise and Mobile Apps in Young Black Women
