Full Test of VCU Alerting System Today, Wednesday, Sept. 3
VCU Emergency Management will conduct a full test of the emergency alert system today, Wednesday, Sept. 3, at noon. This test includes activation of outdoor sirens on both Monroe Park and MCV campuses, Alertus boxes and signage across both campuses. VCU Alert subscribers will receive a text message and email 10 minutes before, at the beginning of and the conclusion of these tests. Recovery Works - Fridays at Noon
Recovery Works is an anonymous, multi-pathway peer-support meeting that welcomes VCU staff and faculty, including members of 12-step groups, faith-based groups and other mutual aid groups. The group welcomes people who take medication as part of their recovery and those who do not. Recovery Works has only one purpose, and that is supporting each other on the recovery journey.
