Memory Café at VCU Health Hub

Seedkeeping, Worldmaking and Counter-cartographies of Food and Land With Chris Keeve

This talk follows ongoing work around the cooperative geographies of agrobiodiversity - the things that people do (and don't do) with seeds, the things that seeds may or may not do on their own and the ways seed work inspires geographic relations between people, place and plants. Chris Keeve is a Ph.D. candidate in geography at the University of Kentucky and predoctoral fellow of the Woodson Institute of the University of Virginia. This event is hosted by the School of World Studies in collaboration with the Environmental Humanities Lab of the Humanities Research. The talk will be in Hibbs Hall, 900 Park Ave., Room 429.

2025 Dyslexia Symposium

VCU's School of Education and the university's Training and Technical Assistance Center (T/TAC) will host the 2025 Dyslexia Symposium on the Monroe Park campus featuring in-person learning, networking and five hours of professional development. The keynote address, "Dyslexia: What We Know and What We Can Do," will feature Kelli Sandman-Hurley, Ed.D., founder of the Dyslexia Training Institute. The event will also include breakout sessions, vendor tables, lunch, networking with peers and free video recordings of select presentations post-event.
