Move2VCU: Volunteer for Move-In 2026
Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
VCU's Residential Life and Housing, Student Affairs, is recruiting volunteers to help with 2026 Move2VCU on Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Volunteers help with wayfinding, getting belongings into rooms, distributing beverages and providing support as students are welcomed for the 2026-2027 year. Meet at Gladding Residence Center, 711 W. Main St. Volunteers will receive special gifts and incentives as a thank-you for their time. Sign up at the following URL.

Cathedral Place Bus Stop Closure (June 3-4)
From 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, the Cathedral Place bus stop will be closed due to church activities. During this time, the RamsXpress stop at Cathedral Place and Floyd Avenue will be moved to Floyd Avenue and Cherry Street. RamSafe buses will also be rerouted to pick up passengers from Cabell Library on Floyd Avenue. Track the buses via the Ride Pingo app, downloadable from your phone's app store.

Students: Join the VCU Career Services Team
The VCU Career Services office is seeking students in a variety of roles to join its team for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications will not open on Handshake until the summer, but students can complete the interest form at the following URL to learn more and apply once positions become available. It is anticipated that both Federal Work Study (FWS) and non-FWS students will be hired.

Concussion Research Study
Recruiting adolescents between the ages of 13 and 19 years old who have 1) never had a diagnosed concussion OR 2) sustained a concussion within the last 14 days. This non-invasive study is investigating the acoustic startle reflex and acoustic startle potentiation in relationship to subsequent injury following concussion. Participants will be compensated for their time. See the interest form at the following URL.
