Participants Are Invited for Study Investigating Military and Racial Identity
This study is seeking individuals who identify as Black or African American and are a veteran. The purpose of this study is to examine how Black veterans understand and experience their military and racial identity. Participation involves completing a survey asking for personal and military specific demographic information, as well as questions about your racial and military identity and psychological well-being. We expect that you will be in this research study for about 15 minutes.

Seeking Federal Work Study Intern for LGBTQ+-Focused Journal
The Journal of Queer and Trans Studies in Education (JQTSIE) is searching for a student to operate as an editorial intern for this venue. The work-study internship position involves working with an international academic journal that focuses on queer and trans studies in education. The journal is an open-access, fee-free academic journal publishing cutting-edge scholarship on LGBTQ+ people and issues in education. The selected individual will work directly with established senior scholars who serve as editors for the journal, providing mentoring and learning opportunities. This position will support the day-to-day editorial operation of the journal, such as processing manuscripts, tracking the status of submissions, copy editing and working with the journal's typesetting platform to produce finished, publication-ready articles. Concussion Research Study
Recruiting adolescents between the ages of 13 and 19 who have 1) never had a diagnosed concussion OR 2) sustained a concussion within the last 14 days. This noninvasive study is investigating the acoustic startle reflex and acoustic startle potentiation in relationship to subsequent injury following concussion.
