Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research Accepting Applications for Pilot Funding
VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research is accepting applications for funding from its Endowment Fund. These awards support researchers who are collecting data for external funding applications for work that ultimately will improve patient and community health outcomes. Participants Are Invited for Study Investigating Military and Racial Identity
This study is seeking individuals who identify as Black or African American and are a veteran. The purpose of this study is to examine how Black veterans understand and experience their military and racial identity. Participation involves completing a survey asking for personal and military specific demographic information, as well as questions about your racial and military identity and psychological well-being. We expect that you will be in this research study for about 15 minutes.

This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of cold water immersion on GAD symptoms with specific focus on blood vessel function. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principle Investigator: Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
