RamAway: Accepting Reservations Through Dec. 8

For those needing a ride back home for winter break, RamAway provides free transportation for faculty, staff and students during designated holidays and semester breaks to and/or from the Richmond International Airport, Greyhound Bus Station and Amtrak at Main Street Station and Staples Mill Road. RamAway is currently accepting reservations for rides departing campus through Saturday, Dec. 17.

RamSafe Service Disruptions on Dec. 3

Due to road closures for the Dominion Christmas Parade, on Saturday, Dec. 3, RamSafe will discontinue service at 3:30 a.m. RamSafe will resume normal service hours on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m.

RamRide Service Disruptions

From Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 5, at 6 a.m., the Campus Connector will be rerouted from Franklin St. to Cary St. As a result, the following stops will not be serviced: Franklin and Monroe; Franklin and 2nd St.; Franklin and 4th St.; Franklin and 7th St.; and One Capitol Square. To help accomodate patrons, a temporary stop will be placed at Madison and Jefferson streets (by the Jefferson Street Parking Deck). On Saturday, Dec. 3, the 3rd and Marshall St. stop will not be serviced until 2 p.m.

VCU Globe: Accepting Applications for Faculty Fellows

VCU Globe accepts applications for the Faculty Fellows program. Applications from faculty in a wide variety of academic disciplines are encouraged. Eligible applicants hold full-time appointments in their disciplines, work as adjunct faculty at VCU or represent a Richmond-area community partner. Fellows teach an upper-level 3-credit seminar/elective course to VCU Globe students. The application deadline is Friday, Jan. 20.
