VCUPD Bike and Walking Tours 2016
Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. to noon
VCU Police officers Michael Brandon and Tanika Troublefield hold bike and walking tours of the Monroe Park Campus beginning on the Compass as part of VCUPD's Bike and Pedestrian Safety Week 2016. Officers will review safety and travel tips as part of each tour. The first 20 cyclists to sign up will receive a free bike light; all walkers will receive a pedestrian light. Good Clear Sound: Open Mic

Good Clear Sound holds its open mic night at The Depot. The mic is open to anyone willing to share their poetic, comedic and musical talents.
Doorways Dinner
Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at 5 p.m.
The Health Science Club sponsors a dinner for the hospitality house, Doorways, at 612 E. Marshall St. Doorways is a non-profit organization that gives those who do not have enough money for housing a place to stay while their loved ones are in the hospital. Members will be cooking and serving dinner to guests and seeks volunteers to help. If interested in volunteering, send a R.S.V.P. to hsc.vcu@gmail.com or the email address below.
Become a Public School Teacher in Four Weeks with EdForce
Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
VCU Career Services hosts an information session with EdForce in Harris Hall, Room 3103, for English, French, Spanish, biology, chemistry and math majors interested in becoming teachers. This is an alternate licensure program which places graduates in full-time teaching positions and then assists the graduate with obtaining a state teaching certification. Graduates can begin working in as little as four weeks.

Master of Science in Health Administration Information Seminar

The Department of Health Administration holds a Master of Science in Health Administration information seminar (professional hybrid online program) at the Grant House. Attendees will learn about the Master of Science in Health Administration program and have a chance to meet with the program director, current students and alumni.

VCU Globe: Accepts Applications
VCU Globe accepts applications for the 2017-18 academic year. Rising VCU sophomores from all over the world will live in West Grace Street Student Housing-North and participate in a 12-credit specialized curriculum that leads to a certificate in global education. 'Food for Fines' Project
James Branch Cabell Library hosts a food drive from Dec. 1-20, to stock RamPantry. Participants generosity will also benefit people who owe fines or certain fees for library materials. For each food item a person donates to the "Food for Fines" project, VCU Libraries will waive $5 in overdue fines or processing fees up to a $30 maximum. To qualify, materials must be returned. Inter-library loan fines and fees and lost item replacement fees will not be waived. Donations can be dropped off at the Information Desk.
