Winter Break Transit Schedule

The Campus Connector operates on its normal schedule through Friday, Dec. 16. On Dec. 17-18, Dec. 23-Jan. 1, and Jan. 7-8, there will be no Campus Connector service. From Dec. 19-22, Jan. 2-6, and Jan. 9-13, the Connector will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A Lot, I Lot, M Lot and R Lot routes will run as normal, however, there will be no service on Dec. 23, Dec. 26 or Jan. 2. A Lot service will begin at 4 a.m. beginning Jan. 3. Ram Safe will operate as normal, with the exception of Dec. 23-25, where RamSafe will end service at 1 a.m.

VCU Police Encourages Everyone to Secure Spaces and Valuables During Winter Break

Stop the Grinch from taking your valuables! The VCU Police Department encourages all students, faculty and staff members to secure their work and living spaces during VCU's winter break. Be sure to lock cabinets, windows and doors, and to store electronics and other valuables properly or consider taking valuables home. VCUPD’s Crime Prevention team can answer specific questions about securing spaces and storing valuables.

Fifth Annual Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium: Early Bird Deadline Dec. 17

The Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care invites the VCU community to participate in this year's Emswiller Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, 1800 Lakeside Ave. To register, visit the website below. An aging and increasingly complex population is challenging the health workforce to deliver optimum care. Preparing the health care workforce to practice collaboratively is necessary to improve health outcomes, decrease cost, enhance the patient experience and increase practitioner well-being. During the symposium, participants will learn about innovations in interprofessional education and practice that seek to meet these goals.
