Blood Drive
Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The MCV Campus Student Government Association sponsors a Virginia Blood Services blood drive at Larrick Student Center. Those who donate will be entered into a prize drawing. Prizes include a Yeti cup and GoPro. Participants must have a V number to be eligible. Volunteers for the drive are also welcome.
VCU Women's Basketball vs. Rhode Island

Fifth Annual Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium: Working Together for Better Health

The VCU Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care invites the VCU community to participate in this year's Emswiller Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, 1800 Lakeside Ave. An aging and increasingly complex population is challenging the health workforce to deliver optimum care. Preparing the health care workforce to practice collaboratively is necessary to improve health outcomes, decrease cost, enhance the patient experience and increase practitioner well-being. Do You Have Asthma?
Volunteers are needed for a study about asthma and the common cold. You must have asthma, not smoke, and be 18-40 years old. Screening involves 2 visits ($40 for the first visit at VCU and $60 for the 2nd visit at UVA). Those who qualify can participate with payment of up to $1870 for completing the study.
