Weight Watchers Meetings on Campus

Weight Watchers@VCU holds meetings every week on campus. The Monroe Park Campus meetings are held on Tuesdays at noon in Harris Hall, Room 5173. The MCV Campus meetings are held on Wednesdays at noon in the Alumni House. Special pricing and reimbursement is available to employees eligible for health care benefits.

VCU Recreational Sports: Open House at MCV Campus Recreation Center for Faculty and Staff
Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
VCU Recreational Sports holds an open house at the MCV Campus Recreation and Aquatic Center for faculty and staff. Attendees will learn about the benefits of becoming a Rec Sports member. Fitness staff will be holding free group exercise classes and doing body composition tests.

'Unconscious Bias in the Classroom' with Guest Speaker Leslie Traub

The Office of Faculty Affairs invites faculty to attend a workshop, "Unconscious Bias in the Classroom," in Hibbs Hall, Room 203. The workshop will be led by guest speaker Leslie Traub and will focus on how these unconscious or implicit biases manifest in educational settings, particularly with respect to the expectations of teachers and students. Central Virginia SoCRA Chapter Meeting

The C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research invites the VCU community to attend the next SoCRA chapter meeting in the Goodwin Research Laboratory, Room 131. Patti Feldt, A.A.S., C.C.R.P., training and education manager, Clinical Trials Office, Massey Cancer Center, and Shirley Helm, M.S., C.C.R.P., manager of clinical trial administration, Clinical Research Services, Wright Center CCTR, will lead the presentation titled, "Exploring SoCRA as a Professional Credentialing Organization."

2017 University Academic Advising Awards: Call for Nominations Open
The VCU Undergraduate Academic Advising Board calls for nominations for the UAAB Awards Program. The goal of the UAAB Awards Program is to encourage wider support and recognition of outstanding advising at VCU. Awards are presented across five different categories to individuals who have demonstrated excellence in advising, innovation and administration.
