Tony Martucci Quintet in Concert

VCU Music presents a performance by the Tony Martucci Quintet in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall. Performers include Luis Hernandez and Jeff Antoniuk (saxophones), John Lee (electric guitar), Tom Baldwin (bass) and Prof. Tony Martucci (drums). Admission is free.

Survivor Solidarity Hour
Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Wellness Resource Center holds Survivor Solidarity Hour, a space where survivors of violence can come together and be, throughout the semester on Tuesday's at 12:30 p.m. in the Wellness Resource Center, Recovery Clubhouse. Instead of a formal group, this hour provides opportunities for survivors to build community and a place to relax.
IFC: 'Lunar New Year'
Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Intercultural Festival kicks off the semester with its first event, "Lunar New Year," in the University Student Commons, Virginia Rooms. Attendees will enjoy free food, activities and prizes.
Nepalese Student Association at VCU: Interest Meeting

The Nepalese Student Association at VCU holds an interest meeting in the University Student Commons, Virginia Room A. Attendees will learn about the organization and membership will be highlighted.

Spring Part-Time Job Fair
Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 from noon to 3 p.m.
VCU Career Services presents the Spring Part-Time Job Fair in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons. Twenty employers will visit campus to meet with students seeking part-time jobs near campus and in the surrounding area. Students are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume and a copy of their class schedule.

United2Heal holds an ice skating social at SkateNation Plus, 4350 Pouncey Tract Rd., Glen Allen, 23060. United2Heal is a nonprofit organization that is involved with picking up medical supplies throughout local areas and sending them to countries in need.
VCU Dance: 'Path Finders: Student Concert'

VCU Dance presents "PATH FINDERS," the 2017 student concert, on Friday, Jan. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. at the Grace Street Theater. Adjudicated by VCU Dance faculty and students, the concert program will feature new work choreographed by VCU Dance majors Taylor Black (sophomore), Marsell Chavarria (junior) and Mariah Eastman (senior).

Honor Council Training
The Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity seeks graduate and professional students to volunteer to serve as a member of the University Honor Council. Members of the Honor Council participate in adjudicating allegations of academic misconduct via sanction review boards, decision boards and academic integrity appeal boards. The spring semester training schedule is posted to the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity web page.

$99k in Scholarships Available: Applications Due in Less Than 30 Days
VCU Business Services accepts applications for 13 academic scholarships in the 2017-2018 academic year. Scholarships vary from $500 to $4,000 and are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Specialty scholarships are also available for international students and single parents. Scholarship applications are available online at bsv.vcu.edu/scholarships and must be submitted by Thursday, Feb. 16.

VCU LEAD: Applications Accepted
VCU LEAD accepts applications for the new class of VCU LEADers. VCU LEAD is a dynamic two-year living and learning program designed to help students hone leadership skills and gain the real world leadership experience needed to be successful when transitioning forward from VCU. LEADers have access to inspirational speakers, hands-on leadership experiences and engaging leadership courses that build students as leaders within the university and the community. Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 3.

Tech Troubles? We Can FixIT
FixIT, VCU's on-campus computer repair resource, is available and conveniently located inside RamTech, 930 W. Grace St., for those experiencing computer troubles. FixIT will assess and repair most computer brands from any retailer, including Apple, Dell, HP and Lenovo. Plus, FixIT is authorized for in-warranty repairs. FixIT is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

New Postal Service Mailing and Shipping Prices
VCU Mail Services reminds the VCU community that new U.S. Postal Service mailing and shipping services prices will take effect on Sunday, Jan. 22. This is the first price increase in three years for First Class Forever Stamps. Stamp prices have stayed consistent with the average annual rate of inflation since the Postal Service formed in 1971. All new prices are posted on the Postal Explorer website, http://pe.usps.com

MCV Alumni House: Open House Dates
