Caps, Gowns and Hoods for May Commencement

May Commencement exercises take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, at the Richmond Coliseum, 601 E. Leigh St. Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods. Third Annual Student Excellence in Interprofessionalism Recognition Award: Call for Nominations

The Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care seeks nominations for the Student Excellence in Interprofessionalism Recognition Award, established in 2015. The Center is accepting nominations for full-time students graduating in 2017 until close of business day on Friday, April 7. Faculty are encouraged to nominate deserving students, as well as to encourage students to self-nominate. Since the inaugural ceremony, students from Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, College of Humanities and Sciences and Social Work have been recognized. This award serves to recognize full-time VCU students who have demonstrated significant involvement and interest in promoting interprofessional activities.

The Wellness Resource Center offers multiple dates and times of a free six-week Relationship Skills Class for LGBTQIA+ students throughout the remainder of the spring semester.
