The Health Occupation Students of America partners with Be The Match on Campus at VCU to host a bone marrow registry drive at the University Student Commons, Concession Stand. The purpose of the drive is to register people to the Be The Match national bone marrow registry. The sample collection process is simple and non-invasive and consists of four separate cheek swabs.

United2heal is a nonprofit organization with the goal of collecting medical supplies within the area that would have been thrown away due to excess or expiration. The Mary and Frances Youth Center seeks volunteers to help with its annual event, Young Aces Open, on Thursday, April 27. Young Aces Open serves more than 200 4th and 5th graders from Richmond Public Schools and provides an opportunity to students to showcase tennis skills in the largest tournament of its kind in the world.
