Sikh Student Association Vaisakhi Langar
12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Sikh Student Association invites the VCU community to its Vaisakhi Langar event, where we will celebrate the Sikh holiday of Vaisakhi and practice the Sikh tradition of Langar, or community kitchen, on the Commons Plaza. Participants will enjoy free traditional Punjabi food and try on a turban while learning more about the Sikh faith and interacting with the Sikh community at VCU.
'Voting Rights Matter, The Fannie Lou Hamer Story'
12 p.m.
The Division for Inclusive Excellence and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, in partnership with VCU Health Sciences and the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies, present the play "Voting Rights Matter, The Fannie Lou Hamer Story," which tells the story of African-American voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer and her pursuit and exercise of basic rights, in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom B. This event is free and open to the public.

Activities Programming Board: Weekly Movies
7 p.m.
The Activities Programming Board presents a showing of "Hotel Transylvania" starting at 7 p.m. and "Monsters, Inc." starting at 9:30 p.m. in the Commons Theater. Movies will also be shown on Saturday, April 1, with "Monsters, Inc." starting at 7 p.m. and "Hotel Transylvania" starting at 9:30 p.m. also in the Commons Theater.

'Inspiring Stories from Successful Richmond Business Women'
Monday, Apr. 3, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The School of Business Office of Student Engagement hosts female business leaders and executives from the Richmond area to talk about personal experiences with navigating the business world, answer questions from attendees and provide helpful tips for success as women in business at The Depot. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. with time for networking with the panel and attendees. Registration is requested by visiting the website below.

ICF Day

The Intercultural Festival presents ICF Day at Floyd Ave. and the Compass. Attendees will enjoy free food, student vendors, a petting zoo and prizes.
Bryan Stevenson at the Siegel Center
Wednesday, Apr. 12, 2017 at 6 p.m.
University College and the Office of the Provost host Bryan Stevenson, author of VCU's 2016-2017 Common Book, "Just Mercy," at the Siegel Center. Stevenson will speak with the VCU and greater Richmond community about his book and his work in the criminal justice system and the Equal Justice Initiative. Free and open to the public, no registration required.

Traffic Changes for the Monument Avenue 10K Race on April 1
Facilities Management alerts the VCU community of traffic and parking changes for the Monument Avenue 10K race on Saturday, April 1. The race will begin near Shafer and Harrison streets and ends near Shafer and Franklin streets. Anyone traveling to the Monroe Park Campus should enter from Cary St. and allow extra time for detours and parking. Race activities run from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additional details and course maps can be found by visiting the website below.

2017 Faculty, Staff and Retiree Fundraising Campaign
VCU Police Chief John Venuti serves as honorary chair of the 2017 faculty, staff and retiree fundraising campaign. The campaign launches on Monday, April 3, and concludes on Tuesday, May 16, although gifts made throughout fiscal year 2017 are part of the campaign. In fiscal year 2016, the faculty, staff and retiree campaign drew 1,757 donors and raised $3.78 million. This campaign is about how many faculty/staff members and retirees make a gift, not how much money is raised. Every gift is important.

Transit Impacts for Monument 10K: March 30 to April 1
This weekend's Monument 10K race will create disruptions to RamRide and RamSafe transit operations beginning Thursday morning, March 30, through Saturday evening, April 1.

Policy Open for Public Comment: Accessibility and Reasonable Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities
The Accessibility and Reasonable Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities policy is now open for university comment through Friday, April 7. The policy has been revised to include a grievance procedure for student complaints regarding accommodation or accessibility.
