Shafer Spring Farmer’s Market

VCUDine hosts a spring farmer's market inside and in the front of Shafer Court Dining Center. Farmer vendors local to Virginia will be on-site with goods available for purchase including fruit, vegetables, jams, herbs, tofu and sweets. Cash, credit, RamBucks and Dining Dollars will be accepted. Free example and lawn games will be on-site for guest use.

Crew Team at VCU: Annual Rocketts Landing Regatta

The Crew Team at VCU holds its annual Rocketts Landing Collegiate Regatta on the James River at Rocketts Landing, 5000 Old Osborne Turnpike. Attendees will support the Crew Team as they compete against schools from around the Mid-Atlantic region while enjoying a beautiful day by the river. There will be a few food trucks at the regatta as well as a merchandise table.

Outdoor Adventure Program: Beach Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

VCU Technology Services has a wireless network upgrade scheduled for Sunday, April 16, at 2 a.m. After the upgrade, certain devices may have to trust a new certificate in order to regain wireless connectivity. The new certificate will show up in a window on your device. Please only accept the certificate that is coming from acs4.cns.vcu.edu Issued by InCommon Server CA. Parking and Transportation Launches 'Park, Walk and Tweet' from April 1-30
Parking and Transportation launches "Park, Walk and Tweet" from April 1-30. Subscribers who see an enforcement officer patrolling their parking deck or lot are encouraged to approach the officer, share parking concerns and snap a picture. Tweet the photo to @VCUParking using the hashtag #PWT for a chance to win a Parking and Transportation prize pack. The "Park, Walk and Tweet" campaign is being launched as an extension of the "Park, Walk and Talk" program.

Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology Research Study
The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology at VCU Medical Center is conducting a research study to determine how a treatment for allergies affects certain immune cells called mast cells and basophils. Healthy volunteers are requested. The study will require participation for about 2 months, with up to 3 visits to our clinic. Volunteers will be compensated for their participation. Volunteers will be eligible if they are healthy adults between 18 and 65 years old and have seasonal allergy symptoms. Volunteers will not be eligible if they are currently receiving allergy shots, have certain medical conditions, or if they or their partner are pregnant.
