Update on New Features of the CARI Reseach MRI Scanner
12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research (W-CCTR) invites the VCU community to bring lunch to the Main Hospital's Learning Center to learn about the new updates and features of the Collaborative Advanced Research Imaging (CARI) research MRI scanner at VCU. This presentation is the first in a series of four W-CCTR Brown Bag lunch seminars taking place at the Learning Center over the coming months.

'Adaptive Climbing Night with OAP'

The Outdoor Adventure Program offers nights of climbing for those who require specific medical devices for ordinary life on Tuesday, March 14, and Tuesday, March 28, at the Cary Street Gym. For those with a prosthetic, have sight or sound hinderences or use a wheelchair, come and climb with OAP. There will be systems and wall staff at the Climbing Wall for those who need adaptive assistance. Admission is free. If interested in climbing or volunteering, use the contact information below.
'Picnic with U2H'- CANCELED

United2Heal hosts a "Picnic with U2H" at Brown's Island, bottom of 12th St. Attendees will enjoy free food and events by the river and will have the opportunity to meet the members of the nonprofit organization.
'Popular Politics, Populism and Donald Trump: Who Are 'We the People'?'
Wednesday, Mar. 22, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs holds a town hall about today's political climate, leadership, the nation's changing electorate and how citizens can get involved at the Grace Street Theater. Featured speakers include Governor L. Douglas Wilder; Robert Holsworth, Ph.D.; John Accordino, Ph.D.; Jack Trammell, Ph.D., interim dean at Randolph-Macon College; and VCU faculty members Meghan Gough, Ph.D., and Alexandra Reckendorf, Ph.D. Free and open to the public.
