VCU Community Health Education Center: Mindfulness Meditation Sessions
Friday, Mar. 10, 2017 from noon to 1 p.m.
The VCU Community Health Education Center hosts 30-minute mindfulness meditation sessions every Wednesday and Friday at noon and 12:30 p.m. at the center, VCU Medical Center, Gateway Building, Ground Floor. The sessions will be led by Georgianne Ginder, MSc, CHWC, VCU Department of Arts in Healthcare. Participants can relax and reduce stress with this healthy practice. Space is limited. 'Real Life Film Series: States of Grace: A Journey of Loss, Resilience and Renewal'

VCU Libraries and University Student Commons and Activities invite the VCU community to bring lunch to a film screening and discussion of "States of Grace" in the Hunton Student Center, TML Learning Center, Room 209. This film intimately captures the profound transformation of a revered physician and her family in the wake of a life-changing accident. The "Real Life Film Series" presents engaging health science documentaries followed by discussion on how the film relates to health trends.

'The Art and Science of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in Service-Learning'
Friday, Mar. 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Division of Community Engagement and the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence sponsor a workshop to inform faculty about scholarly service-learning teaching in the Academic Learning Commons, Room 4100. The workshop will focus on the distinction between scholarly teaching and SoTL and offer guidance for faculty members interested in exploring SoTL.

Campus Connector Spring Break Schedule
The Campus Connector operates on a reduced schedule during spring break. From March 6-10, service will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be no Connector service on Saturday, March 11. On Sunday, March 12, the Connector operates from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Normal service resumes on Monday, March 13.
