Vaccaro is a postdoctoral fellow in gender studies at Indiana University, curator of "Bring Your Own Body: Transgender Between Archives and Aesthetics," and is currently working on the book, "Handmade: Feelings and Textures of Transgender,” which looks at the haptic and "felt" labor of identity.
